GoShipped Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Stetic GmbH collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit goshipped.com, purchase GoShipped, communicate with us or use services provided in connection with GoShipped.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for the processing of personal data is:

Stetic GmbH Germany

Email: [privacy email address]

Further company and contact information is available in our Imprint.

2. General Principles

We aim to collect only the personal data reasonably necessary to operate GoShipped, process purchases, communicate with customers, secure our services and understand how our website is used.

Depending on how you interact with GoShipped, this may include:

  • technical information generated when you access our website;
  • analytics and usage information;
  • your email address and contact information;
  • billing and transaction information;
  • information you provide when communicating with us;
  • account information where a customer account is provided.

The legal basis for processing depends on the purpose and may include performance of a contract or steps taken prior to entering into a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests or your consent where consent is required.

3. Website Hosting and Technical Logs

Our website is hosted using Vercel.

When you access our website, technical information may be processed as necessary to deliver the website, maintain its security, diagnose errors and prevent abuse.

This information may include:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of access;
  • requested URL;
  • HTTP request information;
  • browser and operating system information;
  • referrer information;
  • technical error and security information.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in securely and reliably providing our website and services.

Technical data may be retained where necessary for security, troubleshooting or legal purposes and is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required.

Vercel may process data on our behalf in accordance with its applicable data processing terms.

4. Privacy Focused Website Analytics

We use Stetic Analytics, an analytics system operated by Stetic GmbH, to understand how visitors use our website and to improve GoShipped.

Stetic Analytics is designed to minimize the amount of identifying information collected.

It does not use cookies or browser local storage for analytics.

For IPv4 connections, the final octet of the IP address is removed and the complete IP address is not stored in our analytics database.

IPv6 addresses are not stored.

Stetic Analytics processes information including:

  • shortened IPv4 address, where applicable;
  • requested URL;
  • referrer;
  • browser information;
  • device information;
  • approximate geographic location;
  • date and time of the visit;
  • a pseudonymous daily visitor identifier.

Approximate geographic information is determined locally on our infrastructure using a MaxMind GeoIP database. The visitor's IP address is not transmitted to MaxMind for this purpose.

Daily visitor identifier

To estimate unique visitors without using cookies or persistent browser storage, Stetic Analytics generates a pseudonymous identifier based on technical request information including the IP address, user agent and the relevant calendar date.

This information is transformed into a one way hash. The original values cannot be derived from the stored hash.

Because the date forms part of the calculation, the identifier changes over time and is not intended to create a persistent cross day user profile.

The identifier is used to measure website usage and distinguish visits for analytics purposes.

Analytics records are automatically deleted after three months.

We process this information on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding the use and performance of our website, improving GoShipped and evaluating our marketing activities while minimizing the collection of identifying information.

5. Waitlist and Email Communication

If you join a waitlist, request information, contact us or otherwise provide your email address, we process the information you provide for the relevant purpose.

This may include:

  • email address;
  • name, if provided;
  • date and source of registration;
  • communication history;
  • information necessary to manage your subscription or request.

We use Resend as an email infrastructure provider to send transactional and service related emails and, where applicable, other emails you have requested.

Where consent is required for marketing communications, we process your data on the basis of that consent.

You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in the relevant email or by contacting us.

Transactional emails necessary to provide a purchased service or respond to your request may still be sent where legally permitted.

6. Purchases and Payments

Payments for GoShipped are processed using Stripe.

When you make a purchase, Stripe may collect and process information including:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • billing address;
  • company information;
  • tax information;
  • payment method information;
  • transaction details;
  • IP address and technical information used for fraud prevention.

Payment card information is generally processed directly by Stripe and is not stored by us in full.

We receive information necessary to confirm and manage your purchase, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, customer information, billing information and applicable tax information.

We process this information to enter into and perform our contract with you, process payments, provide access to GoShipped, maintain business records and comply with tax and accounting obligations.

Stripe processes certain information in accordance with its own legal obligations and privacy terms.

7. Customer Accounts

We may provide customer accounts or passwordless access to GoShipped using Supabase.

Where this functionality is used, we may process information including:

  • email address;
  • account identifier;
  • authentication information;
  • login and authentication events;
  • account creation date;
  • information necessary to manage access to your purchase.

Depending on the authentication method, you may receive a secure sign in link or use other authentication mechanisms provided by the service.

Passwords, where used, are handled through our authentication provider and are not stored by us in plain text.

We process account information to provide and secure access to GoShipped and to perform our contractual obligations to customers.

Supabase acts as a service provider for database, authentication and related infrastructure.

8. Customer Support and Communication

If you contact us by email or another provided support channel, we process the information contained in your communication.

This may include your:

  • name;
  • email address;
  • company;
  • purchase information;
  • technical information;
  • messages and attachments.

We use this information to respond to your request, provide customer support, resolve technical or billing issues and maintain appropriate business records.

The legal basis depends on the nature of the communication and may include performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in providing customer support and managing our business relationships.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We do not use analytics cookies or browser local storage for Stetic Analytics.

Our website may nevertheless use technically necessary storage or similar mechanisms where required to provide functionality explicitly requested by you, such as security, authentication or checkout functionality.

Third party services you interact with, such as payment or authentication providers, may use their own technologies when necessary to provide their services.

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular technology, we will request consent before using it.

10. Service Providers

We use selected service providers to operate GoShipped.

These currently include:

11. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the European Economic Area or may process data in countries outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we use or rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable data protection law.

Depending on the provider and destination, these safeguards may include an adequacy decision by the European Commission, participation in an applicable data privacy framework, Standard Contractual Clauses or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or as required by law.

In particular:

  • Stetic Analytics records are automatically deleted after three months.
  • Customer and purchase information may be retained for the duration of the contractual relationship and applicable statutory retention periods.
  • Accounting and tax related records may be retained for the periods required by applicable law.
  • Support communications may be retained where reasonably necessary to manage our customer relationship, document requests or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Waitlist and marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent or the information is no longer required for the relevant purpose, subject to any legally required records.

When personal data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymized unless continued retention is required by law.

Depending on the circumstances, we process personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

Contractual necessity: where processing is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with you.

Legal obligations: where processing is necessary to comply with applicable accounting, tax or other legal requirements.

Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests and those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms. This includes operating and securing our website, preventing abuse, providing support and understanding website usage using privacy focused analytics.

Consent: where we specifically ask for your consent, for example for certain marketing communications or technologies where consent is legally required.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

14. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions and limitations of applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion of your personal data;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive certain personal data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

Where processing is based on our legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation.

To exercise your rights, please contact us using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.

15. Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet based service can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for protecting credentials and access information associated with your GoShipped account.

16. Business Customers

GoShipped is intended for business and professional customers.

Where you provide personal data in connection with a company or other organization, this Privacy Policy still applies to personal data relating to you as an identifiable individual.

17. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, providers, processing activities or legal requirements change.
